Islands of Adventure, Orlando
Both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure use the same car park area and pathways so it can get very busy getting to the park entrances. Islands of Adventure is the newer of the two parks and has more thrill rides than Universal Studios. You can go on The Hulk, Duelling Dragons and Dr Doom’s Fearfall to name just a few.
The attention to detail here is excellent as you move between the different areas of the park you feel you are entering a whole new world. The Jurassic park area is very atmospheric as is Seuss Landing. This is where you can enter the world of Cat in the Hat and One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. This is a very surreal area and even the palm trees grow at strange angles!
The water rides here make you very, very wet and so definitely bring a change of clothes of wear something that dries quickly. The themed shows are really well produced and are a good excuse for a sit down when you’re feeling the strain.
Eating here is very varied and offers quick snacks on the move, sit down snacks or really good quality restaurants. This is a great park and really interesting just to walk around and soak up the atmosphere and scenery. There is plenty to do for all ages and best to see over two days if you want to take it at a steady pace.
